Pilates Primer Program

The Pilates Primer Program is designed for beginners looking to build a solid foundation in Pilates while improving their core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Whether you’re new to Pilates or looking to refine your technique, this two-stage program will guide you through the essential principles and movements to get you started on your fitness journey.

Stage 1: Core Foundation & Posture Awareness

In this first stage, we’ll focus on developing a strong core and learning the fundamentals of Pilates. You’ll be introduced to key movements such as the “pelvic curl,” “spine stretch,” and “leg circles,” which help improve posture, stability, and flexibility. The exercises are designed to activate your deep core muscles, enhance your body awareness, and lay the groundwork for more advanced moves. You’ll also learn to synchronize breath with movement, an essential component of Pilates practice.

Stage 2: Flexibility & Full-Body Strengthening

Once you’ve built a strong foundation, we’ll transition into full-body strengthening and flexibility exercises. In this stage, Pilates movements will be combined with more dynamic stretches and controlled movements to improve your flexibility, coordination, and balance. You’ll challenge yourself with exercises like “saw,” “swan dive,” and “teaser,” which work not just the core but also the arms, legs, and back. By the end of this stage, you’ll feel stronger, more balanced, and more connected to your body.
